Erin Nicholas... romance should always be this fun!: Heating Up the Winter... with Hotblooded!

So, it's winter here. *sigh* Absolutely, positively my least favorite time of year.

And this is the view of our backyard:

Oh, sure, sometimes it's pretty. The snow on the evergreens is nice. Having the fireplace on and drinking cocoa and all of that. Yeah, yeah.

I still find myself dreading the winter. It's cold and it's dark.

A mid-winter trip to Hawaii is out this year, which would have solved everything. So, instead I decided to find other ways of making this time of year more fun.

I started thinking about how to heat things up. I bought myself a new Keurig coffee maker, a new fleece blanket, a new fleece sweatshirt, a few spicy romance novels to get the blood pumping. And then I thought why not spread the fun around?

My book Hotblooded seemed the perfect way. After all, the heat's right in the title! It's got a hotblooded woman, a man who likes things hot, Texas in summer, a cappuccino machine... we might need a little A.C. before it's all over!

So for the next couple of weeks, I'm going to be hosting a variety of "events" to help to heat things up around here! Here's what's in store:

January 6th: Kick-off to Heating Up the Winter on Facebook.

Join me on my Facebook page and check out the questions we ask Jack and Brooke about how they like to heat things up. Join in the conversation by answering the same questions in the comments and get entered to win one of THREE prizes: a set of naughty dice (one gives an action, the other a body part... to warm things up at home ;)) and a packet of my favorite cappuccino! All players are also entered to win the Grand Prize (see below).

Monday (the 7th & 14th) Wednesday (the 9th & 16th), and Friday (the 11th & 18th) you'll find hot excerpts, recipes and pictures :) right here on the blog.

Then on January 13th, meet me back on Facebook for some more fun! A scavenger hunt! You just need to find some hot stuff on the web and send me links. I'll be looking for a hot guy, a hot book recommendation, and a hot recipe (spicy or just served hot :)) from all entrants. Everyone who plays has a chance to win THREE more prizes: two more sets of dice and cappuccino and one bottle of Motion Lotion (it warms up as you rub! ;) and cappuccino. All players are also entered to win the Grand Prize (see below).

And on January 20th, one more Facebook game: Would You Rather...? with Jack! Jack will be answering questions from the game Would You Rather...?
